Hi everyone! I’ve been working for VIPKid since June & I wanted to share my experiences:

I teach English to kids online in China! I earn $20/hr, but it can go up to $22 depending on how your interview goes (and based on experience). Classes are all 25 minutes, include the lesson plan, and are all done from your computer!

Work hours are Beijing hours, which works with my schedule as I’m able to work before and after school (I work 6:00-7:00am and 9:00-10:30pm every day). The job is so much fun and I would recommend anyone looking for some work to consider it! There are no minimum or maximum hours required.

There are a few requirements before applying: having a bachelors degree (any field), having a North American accent/passport, and experience teaching kids (I used camp counselor and that worked. You could use tutoring, babysitting, etc.)
