I was looking to make extra money and came across an opportunity on Facebook. Having almost been scammed through Care.com before, I always do my research now when it comes to anything. This time, I’m not finding anything on Google and was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with it.

The original post said “Get paid for e-mail processing” and claimed that you’ll get $25 for signing up and $75 for recruiting others. The process involved having someone place an ad (by using TeamViewer) and paying (with their credit card) for an ad to be placed on your Facebook account.

It was a one time deal where they would never need to access your account again and they never look at anything other than your facebook the one time. They do not watch you log in and while they type in the credit card information, they actually hide it from the screen by typing it in the corner. They then disconnect, you change your teamviewer password and then you proceed to recruit others to earn $75 per sign up.

Has anyone had any experience with something like this? I’m curious about what happens if their credit cards decline and whether or not they actually pay you (which they offer through Paypal, btw).

Any tech guys out there who can see how this can be dangerous for people or a scam?

Anyone know anything?
